Disappointed - not a weighty necklace but plasticy

I had my eye on this necklace for months and finally bought it on a sale. Based on the photo, the materials (it says brass), and the price, I was expecting a solid, high quality piece. Imagine my surprise when I receive this lightweight item. The chain feels exactly like plastic - I can't imagine that it's really brass. The three curlicues are actually beads sewn on CLOTH - it is not metal. The cloth pieces are tied with a thread like fishing wire to the chain. Those pieces aren't tied well, so they itch my neck terribly. The only pro is that when the necklace is on your neck it is as deceptive as it is in the photo and it looks heavy and pretty, which is why I give it three stars. I haven't decided whether to keep the piece of not, but I am SO disappointed bc I expected so much more. It is RIDICULOUS that this necklace would cost $80. I realize that this designer is designing for The Limited instead of for her haute couture line, but that's no excuse for such poor quality.
