The one I tried on was a purple-y blue, and kind of twill-ish. And the ribbon was weird.
Wanted to like it, but nope.

Beautiful and attention demanding dress!
I have been eyeing this dress for at least a month, and it finally went on sale and my size was available! After reading the reviews, I decided to order a size down ( I normally wear a 2 in pants, and 2/4 in dresses). I am so glad I did, as this is a loose fitting, flowy dress. I'm almost 5'5 and 125 lbs. and the size 2 fits awesome! It loose fitting, and flowy on the top. I have an average chest size and it fits wonderful...it does not look to big and the material along with the ruffle looks great. The dress is not form fitting, but that is the style :-) It is great for bridal showers, wedding, vacations, other events, etc...I'm so excited to wear it! The color is more of a deep purple, and the dots are somewhat in an illusion, 3d pattern. There is a small button on the bust to keep the area closed, this touch is perfect as without it the dress would be a wrap around and those don't always fit nicely :-) Thanks Limited for making this beautiful, light dress and I am so excited to wear it to some upcoming events!

Beautiful shower dress!
I wore this to my sister-in-laws baby shower and received many compliments. The dress is very feminine with the polka dots and ruffles. I ordered my normal size and it fit just right. Just beware: the button/clip enclosure at the top unbuttons every time you move, so wear a cami underneath. Otherwise it will be pretty low in the front.

didn't work for me
color wasn't navy. it has navy lining but its black w/ white dots and purple surrounding the dots. I'm super busty and the snap wouldn't stay connected and didn't want to go up a size...the design just didn't work for me.

I was SO excited to try on this dress, but was disappointed to see that it was not flattering for larger hips or muscular legs. Very pretty design, though.

Not impressed
I'm wondering if I received the same dress that everyone else is raving about... I had high hopes for this dress, but I was not impressed with it after I tried it on. The fit was too big, the top looked like it was just hanging there and the bottom hem seems unfinished without a ruffle along its edge. I ordered my normal size, but it's not even worth exchanging for a smaller one. I'm sending it back...

Love!
I love this dress. Got it for an awards luncheon at school but will also wear it on a day when I feel like dressing up to teach. It runs a tiny bit big. I'll have to take the sides in just under the arms. But otherwise it is a lovely dress.

Adorable, hurry up Spring!
I am tiny up top (32B) and usually wear sizes 0-2 in The Limited dresses. The size 0 is even a touch big on me, but it still fits. This dress is so cute, much cuter than any other blue polka dot dresses I have seen elsewhere this season. The length is just above the knee for me (5ft7). I cannot wait for warmer weather to wear this dress!

Cute and feminine!
I love this dress- the polka-dot pattern is adorable. As others have said, this dress does run big. I normally buy a 2 and had to size down to a 0 (which was still a little loose but acceptable). It pairs well with the lime green cardigan currently available on cooler days.

Runs too big
I loved this dress, but unfortunately it runs a size or two too big. Since I already wear a size zero at The Limited, I didn't have the option to size down, which was very unfortunate. I am really very disappointed about this as this is the second time such an incident has happened. I hope that the store isn't sizing me out of buying other items in the future.

This dress is not really navy like the description says it more purple-ish blue. Either way it's a great little dress that is girly and fun. It does not have a zipper and is a pullover kind of style. I also had to size down to get the fit I wanted. All in all great buy

COLOR NOT NAVY AS ADVERTISED
I ordered this dress based on the color advertised. The blue is one the inside of the dress. Outside its black, with white polkadots surrounded by purple.
The good news is the dress is fabulous, different and the pop of color belt is amazing, so I will keep it.

Beautiful Spring Dress
I tried this dress on in the store and as soon as I stepped out everybody was telling me how much I needed to buy this dress, even other customers! The ruffles add a sweet feminine charm and the white polka dots outlined in purple give it a carefree look. It does run large so I had to go down a size. There is a small hidden snap button to hold the "V" in the V-neck higher, but if you undo it the "V" sits lower. It's a great dress that can be worn from early spring well into late summer. I pair it with white sandals (flat or heeled) and have received compliments every time I've worn it so far. It's a great dress to have in your wardrobe.

one minor adjustment needed
I wanted this dress from the moment I saw it so I scooped it up at the fashion frenzy for 50% off!!
My only issue with it is that I am bigger in the bust compared to the rest of me. So a 4 fit perfectly but the small snap that keeps the v neck line modestly closed just kept popping open on me. I bought the dress anyway and I will take it to my tailor and just have the snap moved up about an inch- should work just fine. As teal at 50% off!!!
