I really wanted to like this dress due to the style, fabric print, and coordinating red belt; however, upon receipt I was disappointed with the thin fabric and the fit. The fabric basically feels like a spring polyester scarf and the dress is not lined, so this does not help either. The neck and arm-holes of the dress are trimmed in a ponte knit fabric, so the upper bodice fit nicer than the rest of it. The red belt would not stay put due to it being much heavier and stiffer than the dress, so I knew I would constantly be readjusting it if I ever wore it. I am 5'7" and normally wear size 6-8 in a straight dress. This one had to be returned.

I saw and tried this dress on in the store. I immediately fell in love with the design and the lightweight fabric. This is a perfect summer dress! It is light, cool, and a classic fit. I feel like I can wear it from day to night. One feature I especially like is that the dress is black and white, and the red belt is removable. Because of this,I feel like I can buy more skinny belts and keep this dress for years by updating the belt I pair with it!
Getting it on sale only made the purchase better!

I loved this dress, but the red from the belt came off on the white of the dress. I haven't washed it yet to see if it comes out, I'm hoping it does. A little worried it will do it every time I wear it though.

I'm 5'5" 135 lbs 34DD an exact Limited size 4/size small. This dress fits me perfectly. I can always order online and never worry about the fit.This dress was no exception. I love this dress. The fabric is very soft and delicate. It's great for Spring. You may want to wear a slip. The only small negative would be the belt; it's faux leather and really thin. I'm considering replacing it.

I bought a 6 online, it was so tight in the middle and then I tried the 8 and it fit the same as the 6. So I tried a 10 and it was huge all over. I ended up returning the 6. I was really bummed because I loved the red belt with the natural/black look.

Super cute dress, but...

I had a very hard time trying to find a bra that wouldn't show through the material. I will end up having to purchase a slip to wear with it. I love the dress style itself, but the material is way too thin for the price point. I'm glad that I only paid half of the price.

This dress is adorable! I disagree with other reviews about the dress being too large on the top. However, I have a larger chest (34 D) so this fits my top very well. The bottom isn't too clingy and falls to just right above the knees. I would recommend getting a slip. It helps with thin material. Overall a very cute dress!

I loved this dress but it does have thin material - had to buy one of their white camisoles to wear underneath. I would recommend only if you're willing to wear the right bra and cami underneath.

I'm pretty disappointed that I had to return this dress. While it looks great, I'll have to agree with the other reviewer. The dress material is very thin and almost sheer on the top in the off-white portions. I'm a 5'4" and 34B chest measurements, and usually fit XS and 0-2 at The Limited. However, when I ordered this dress in a size 0, it was incredibly tight in the top to a point where I couldn't breathe, despite fitting the rest of me as far as waist went and hips went. When I tried on a Size 2 in the store, the chest area was looser but the part in the back between the shoulders sagged when I stood up straight. Overall, not my favorite item and had to return. Maybe if you have broader shoulders, this will work for you.

I love this dress! It's slick modern polyester material that flows nicely despite my long strides. The overall flow of the pattern looks better in person and is flattering especially on those more curvy of hips and buttocks. The fit is good and not too tight in hips or tummy which i have both. I ordered a size 12 and fits like a dream. I like the small red belt for contrast and the small belt makes you look thinner. Only complaint are the string loops for belt. I cut mine off. It is a thinner material but can be warm enough in layers and cool enough for warmer months.

I first thought this dress would be too thin for Chicago weather, but I tried it on and it fit like a dream, looked awesome on me! So this dress is silky soft, holiday dress , looks great with the winter white blazer and Blake hose. I did have to size up one size to a 6 just felt a little better. I gave points off for the loose belt ties, I used a red obi belt which looked better. See for yourself !

I loved the look of this dress; I thought the black and white dots that differed in size were a perfect blend of classic and modern for work. I normally wear a size 6 pant and am between a 6 and 8 in skirts at The Limited. The 8 I could barely get to go around my hips. Not to mention the material is so thin. The material is much more appropriate for lingerie or a slinky style dress, and felt over-worked in this sheeth. Not to mention you lose the transition of the dots under a blazer.
If you love this dress and want it dispite reviews, be prepared to order it about 2 sizes larger than you normally wear if you want it to fit like the picture.

i love limited dresses. normally wear a large or 12 in most but ordered a 14 in this as it looked to run small. it does. the 14 wouldn't even zip and i checked the tag twice b/c it literally felt like about an 8. the material is so thin and the top part is almost sheer it is so thin. the zipper was of poor quality also and for this price, i would not recommend at all.
