Pretty but challenging
I like the dress; the color is beautiful, but the pleats are very complicated and it takes too long to try and touch it up from hanging.

PERFECT work to evening dress
I am 5 ft 1 and the dress hit just below the knee (so longer than on model). Fits about tea length and I love the colors. Dress buttons all the way down the front. Receive compliments on it every single time I wear it. I even had a random stranger ask me where I bought it while I was at dinner. Perfect spring to summer with a pair of nude pumps. Another perfect fit. Keep up the good work Limited! Loving Sophie Theallet collection

Over Joyed!
I saw this dress online first and fell in love with it. I went to the store for something totally different and saw this dress and was even more in love! I bought it in two colors and with the coupons used I paid less for two than what one would cost This dress is a classic with a modern twist in the satin detailing. I am 5' 3", 125 lbs, and a 34D and the small fit me perfectly. I would definitely recommend this dress!

Love it
I normally wear a size 4 at TL and despite other reviews I ordered it in a size 4. It fits great. I love the way it is reminiscent of a 50's housewife but it still so modern. The pockets are crazy deep and the satin ribbon detailing is beyond gorgeous. Love, love, love.

i can't wait to wear it
this dress is perfect, just a little tiny bit snug at the waist...but there is enough give. it really fit more like an 8 (i got the 10) but i'm so glad i did not get a 12 despite the fact that it was sold out...per the reviews it is snug at the bust, but not on me. i'm a 34D. the length is perfect and quality okay...i say that only because it is a little thin. that's why i rated it a 4. otherwise, no complaints...i'm sure everyone, including hubby, will like it. and i'll be proud to be sporting the same dress as the first lady of the us!!

Whimsical but Classy
When I first saw this dress I had to have it. The dress gives off a whimsical but classy feel. The dress certainly makes a statement. The material is nice and has a crisp look.
I am 5'6 and approx 138 pounds and ordered a medium. It is a perfect fit for me. If I were a few more pounds I would have to order a large.

Beautiful and Classy Dress
I ordered this dress online bc my store did not carry it. I normally can fit a 6 in TL dresses, so I followed suit and ordered it in a 6. Although it did fit a little snug at the top, it didn't gap or pull apart at the bustline like others mentioned. The only issue that I had was the pleat going down the top of the backside of the dress. Rather than laying flat and closed, the pleat was open, which proved that it was a little tighter than it was surpose to be. Since it really didn't look too bad, I pondered over whether to keep it or exchange it for an 8. I finally decided to exchange it, but by that time they had sold out of the navy all together, sooo I had to drive an hour to the nearest town to exchange it for the 8. I am so glad I did bc it fits so much better, and is so much more comfortable. This dress is a knock out ladies, and very flattering to the figure.

Sophie Theallet Shirt Dress. Need to size up.
I normally do not write reviews online, but I had to on this dress. I bought the navy color shirt dress and the quality is beautiful. The only complain like previous reviewers have mentioned is the top area of the dress. This is not a dress for a woman that is top gifted. I purchased my normal size 10, The bottom fit beautifully, but way too tight on top and the threated gaping in the T-area. I returned the dress and re-placed the order online in a size 12. Please "The Limited" get your sizing correct. Real women have curves. For reference I am 5"4. Wear size 8 bottoms, medium size tops, size 10 jacket, and am 38C in the chest area.

Love this dress!!!
I have been wanting this dress since I first saw it. It did not disappoint. It is unbelievably classy and stylish. I must admit I was a little concerned about the fit up top from the other reviews. I am a 34D and wear a size 4. It fit just fine. It was not tight or stretched. It will be a piece I will Wear for years to come.

DO NOT BUY Sophie Theallet Shirt Dress
I am a size 2; I was so excited to buy this dress, especially b/c I bought it during a 50% off sale. To say I was disappointed is an understatement! The waist could fit a child size 8 and the top half leaves no room for anyone with above an A size bra! I returned it to the store--- tried on up to a size 8 and THE TOP STILL DIDN'T FIT! The buttons were pulling on the top half and the material was puckering it was so small in the bust area. The dress is gorgeous but not sure who they are making it for!
