FANTASTIC FIT!
This dress is just as pretty in person as it is online. The fit is phenomenal - especially for me since TL's dresses usually run very large on me. I especially like the long sleeves on this dress. It adds a 'couture' look to it. The material is very sturdy and warm, and it doesn't seem irritating at all. I also like that while the sleeves are fitted down the length of the arm, there is substantial room under the underarms so that your skin can breathe and deodorant doesn't stain the dress. This dress shows off your curves, so if you are worried about it being too fitted for the office, you may want to size up. I can't wait to wear this dress!

I loved this dress when I first saw it. I thought I'd wait to see if it got marked down. It was 40% off the marked down. I couldn't wait to wear it today. I always take a xs and I couldn't believe how tight the sleves were. I went up to a small and the sleves aren't so tight, but now they are to long. It's also big in the shoulders. I love the look of this dress and I agree with other people the fabric is a little cheap. I have noticed some of the items lately seem a little on the cheap side. Some sweaters you have to watch, they don't hold up like the use to. May return tomorrow.

I wanted this dress to be a winner. It fit well (slightly tight in the arms). But I have wide hips. And the large, thick stripes, hit me at my widest part which was totally unflattering on my body. So I had to return it. But it was soft and comfy. Wish it had worked out.

Classy Sweater Dress
This dress is quite lovely. The material is thin so you will need to wear something under it, but being thin is part of what makes it flattering. I recommend sizing up as it seemed to me to run small.

Colorblocked sweater dress
I'm glad I tried this dress on in store. I am 5'8, 140lbs 36B and grabbed my typical Medium. It was pretty, but I thought it was a bit too tight for my liking. I grabbed the large and the fit was perfect! The Medium would not have been appropriate for work, but the large gives me a bit more wiggle room, and because it's a thinner knit, it doesn't accentuate any flaws! I thought the color blocking was spot on, and I like the hint of metalic thread in the stripes between the color blocking. Great sweater dress, and worth a try on!

Definately consider this dress
Most of the reviews are accurate; the fabric is thin, but that makes for a more slimming look on this sweater dress. I wear size 10 and I decided to size up for a more elegant look. It is very slimming and modern looking. This is a key staple to anyone's fall wardrobe.

After seeing the dress the online site, went into the store to try on for size. Compared to the photo, the color of the cream/white portion is a bit more on the side of oatmeal cream. Due to the color block pattern, when worn, it gives the illusion of a cinched waist. Fabric to touch is soft and not too heavy. Great for Fall / mild winter. Will be wearing it to work!

Perfect Sweater Dress
I was waiting for my shipment and was worried when reading other reviews. Received my dress and tried on today and instantly fell in love. The fit is amazingly flattering, hugs every right places. The metallic adds extra charms. I am an XS in Limited and this dress fits true to size. It slimmed my body and actually make me taller too. Thanks Limited.

Not my fav, but it works
I loved this dress online. It fits okay, not amazing. It's a little clingy and not as thick as I would've liked it. Also the arms seem abnormally tight. I'm a limited medium and ordered as such, I had to double check the tag when I took it off because I thought I accidentally got a small. I'm 5'8" 140, 36D. Overall I'd recommend it if you get it on sale :)

Nice dress... but material could be better.
I fell in love with this dress when I saw it online and then went to the store to try it on and it runs a bit small... I'm normally a M at The Limited and L fits me just right. I noticed in the store that the dress I tried on had a small rip in the material by the label and I wasn't sure how long the material would last but I loved the dress so much and received so many compliments in the fitting room that I went home and bought it the next day online. I'm just going to have to take real good care of it! I'm 5'11 and 175 lbs and the L hit a few inches above the knees. I'm going to wear it often to work during the fall and winter!

I wanted to love this...
So, I tried this on and wanted to love this dress...however, I was extremely disappointed. The way the stripes hit on me, it made me look larger. Also, it was a thinner material and like a previous posted stated...it doesn't breathe. Due to the fact that I'm a 00/0 and felt large in it...I wouldn't buy this dress if you're hoping for it to slim you down.

Perfect sweater dress
I love the color-block and clean lines of this dress so I immediately bought it online. It fits perfectly and is true to size (I wear an XS in The Limited sweater dresses). The top color is a bit darker in person - it's more of a deep cream than the off-white pictured which gives it a more expensive look. I love the unique metallic trim that's also featured at the top of the gray portion (which is hard to see online). The length is perfect, the fit is very flattering, the fabric is soft and not too thick or too thin. I live in the Midwest and the weather is still mild for October, so I can wear it now as well as when it gets colder. This dress is the perfect combination of sexy and classy.

Love the dress hate the fabric
I fell in love with the dress the minute I saw it online. I just received it today and while I love the dress, I hate that the fabric is super thin! The dress also runs really small so I may not be able to keep it. I hope the limited goes back to the quality that I have become use to and stop using this really thin material!

Run small, and terrible quality
I love the limited sweaters and had tons of them. And I wear XS all the time don't even have to try on. But this sweater dress is so small that I can barely fit it after I got the item. Beside, I think the limited website shows a brighter color all the time. Top is not white but a light grey. The most disappointed thing about this dress is that It feels so cheap. Not like other dresses, this one is very thin and cheap material. Going to return this one.

I *loved* this dress. It fit great. But the fabric is horrible. Its super tight, doesn't breath, and was already starting to pill (fuzzy balls) in the store. Didn't keep.

Beautiful work dress!
This is a very beautiful dress for work; it's not too formal and can be dressed up or down. However, it runs really small. I normally wear size S dresses from the Limited, but this one is size M and it is kind of tight. Additionally, it is 100% polyester. I prefer a 50% blend of wool, cotton and 50% synthetic fabric. I found that a blend like this looks, feels and wears better.

Great fit, terrible fabric
I tried this dress on at the store. Sweater dresses are always a 50/50 shot with me. They either look great on my body or highlight everything that I hate about my body. This dress is the former. It gives me the right shape, which is why I'm sad to give it a bad a so/so review. The fabric is so constricting and is unbelievably hot. I thought it was something I could get use to, but I think I'm going to have to return this dress.
