This shirt is wide up top & kinda baggy, but real tight at the banded hem. This combo makes it fit weird. I like the design tho & the silky back.

Eh
Agree with the other reviewers -- boxy with cheap fabric. The front feels very thick because of the print, which doesn't look very good in person. It also doesn't feel great -- a little scratchy/heavy. However, it will hide those little bumps around the middle, but probably only in the front as the back is more clingy and thin.

This looks great with some skinny black jeans. I got so many compliments.
It seems like lately the tops at TL are shorter than normal and a bit wider than they should be. I wanted to love this top, but the proportions are a deal breaker for me. The print is nice, but it's not nice enough to overcome the cut of the shirt. For ladies with a shorter torso, this may work, but unfortunately, it's going back for me.

Looks better in pictures
Surprisingly a kimono cut shirt that alludes to the shape without making you appear like a wannabe geisha and bad stereo-type of Japan. Unfortunately that is the only part of the shirt that is good.
The material is cheap (feels like polyester even though it's supposed to be rayon), the print is not the pleasant s-waves seen online but a blur of dizzying white on black that hurts they eyes and widens everything. Definitely a shirt to only get on sale.
Also would fit better on non-petite people as it is cut wider overall, thus the shoulders don't hit where they're supposed to and makes the shirt hang straight up and down on the frame. I would say true-to-size if you're taller than petite and if you're PM you could probably fit into an S or XS.
