disappointing

Just got this in the mail today, and I think it'll be going back to the store. Though the color palette is gorgeous and the knit very soft, unless you stand frozen in the exact same posture as the model, it just doesn't drape well. I ordered my usual size, so maybe it runs a bit big in the torso/bust, but the length was just right, so I think if you sized down, it might be shorter than you wanted. I've noticed other TL open cardigans having similar fit issues, so maybe it's just how they all are...but I kept wanting to pull it tighter across my chest so it would hug my curves the way it does in the photo. The self-tie belt doesn't help, either; in fact, I thought it looked even less flattering belted than worn open.
