Terribly Cheap, Not Quality
Looks and feels like cheap dress pants that would normally cost you $20 at a lower quality store. I was so disappointed in these pants. I use to purchase my pants only from TL. Since their quality has went down so much in the last few years, I've only purchased a few quality pieces here or there. I couldn't dislike these pants more, yuck!

Not Flattering
I usually like the Cassidy pants and I've bought dozens over the past decade because they usually have a nice shape for the average woman. Unfortunately this pair, and so many that the Limited makes now, have no belt loops to keep the pants in place. Since all of their pants have spandex in them, they begin stretch out throughout the day, and eventually start to sag because there is no elastic in the waistband to keep them up, and there is no belt loops to give you the option of wearing a belt to keep them up. I bought the smallest size I could squeeze into, and they did not look good that tight, but by the end of the day, they had stretched out to fit better, except they started to fall down and get saggy because there was no thought put into the design (no beltloops and no elastic#. Now perhaps if they had made them with a little more shape #meaning the waistband has to measure smaller than around the hips# then maybe that would have prevented them from falling down, but they were just too straight to take care of that issue we all have with pants stretching out while going throughout the day. To make matters worse, these pants do not have buttons to keep the tab closed at the wasit properly. The tab is a hook style that is difficult at best and dysfunctional at worst #as it won't stay closed and sticks out). I don't like a big piece of material sticking out at the waist and I don't know anyone who does. This pair of pants is not as functional and flattering as I need them to be, so I will be returning them.

This is the first pair of pants I have bought from The Black Collection. On the collection itself, I really like the fabric, it looks and cares for very nicely. The pants fit great and comfortably. The majority of my pants from TL are Exact Stretch and these fit true to size of my ES size.

They sit comfortable on my waist. I ordered the long. I am 5'6. They are a little long for flats so wear boots. I bought the regular also and they are great with flats but not boots

Bad fit
I am a very consistent size 0 at LTD, so that is what I ordered in these pants to match the suit jacket that I purchased. Unfortunately, these do not fit like the other pants I have. Specifically, they are very tight in the crotch! Another reviewer said this as well, so it must be the cut/rise of this particular style. They fit everywhere else, so I can't size up. I'm not that disappointed to be honest - I did not realize when I ordered that they were an extended tab closure (my mistake), which I don't care for. These are going back and I will have to wait until the Drew pants are back in stock.

True staple for a pear-shape!
I have long been a Limited customer for quite some time and found that the Cassidy is a sure thing for my pear-shape! These are a nice 'staple' for work as they fit slimmer through the hips an waist then loosen up just slightly through the rest of the pant to give that professional look and feel. Also, the detailed stitching around the waist gives a nice touch. I typically purchase a size 4 in this pant style and the size on this pair was true to fit. I am only 5'3" and found that the "Shorts" are too short and the "Regulars" are a bit long for me but I order the Regular and either wear a tall heel or hem them myself using an iron-on hem tape. I have a black suit jacket from the Limited that is a few years old that I wore these pants with and it worked perfectly.
I have never ordered online before but it was a seamless transaction!

Happy Happy Happy!
I have been looking for casual pants that are washable and look and fit great for a long time. I am petite and finding just the right fit is difficult. I purchased these pants and had them hemmed at the store one hem length, and now they are perfect!

Nice fit!

This pant had a very (very) tight fit in the crotch area. I thought the pant fit great at first, but after an hour I realized they were cut extremely tight in that area..had to return, they are not comfortable to wear at all!

Great slim cut and not too tight!
I looked all over the mall for a pair of new black dress pants that would drape nicely and look professional without being too baggy or wide. These fit great, are comfortable and have a nice clean lean professional cut - still showing a bit of shape.

Nice, but not suit pants
I wear Cassidy often and these fit true to size. The quality is nice, but I wouldn't describe them as suit pants. The fabric is thin and they are not lined. The fabric does match my black collection jacket but the quality of the jacket is so much nicer than the pants. That said, these are still nice pants for work and I love that you can get different lengths (for flats/heels etc)

Perfect!!!
I am an athlete so it is very hard to find any kind of bottoms that fit my big thighs, my itty bitty waist, and LONG legs. These did just that. The material is a bit thinner than the other slacks I have purchased from The Limited, but I guess they are made more for the spring/summer weather (which is a plus for me since I live in South Louisiana). They look great & I love them!!!
