The Limited Crystal Pleated Skirt

I love the skirt
This skirt is so stylish, comfortable, and chic. I can do so much with the skirt. I love the pink and the black. Very comfortable skirt that I would recommend for anyone to wear.

Love it, but...
I can't wear high waisted skirts, so this had to go back. I really liked everything else about it, but high waisted it too uncomfortable. It will look really cute on someone this summer, but not me.

Perfect romantic skirt
This skirt is exactly what I wanted for spring/summer months. Very flattering on a petite and curvy frame, the length is right if you like your skirts at knee level. Want it in every color possible!

A little tight around the waist
I love the way it flows and the fact that it is well lined. I ordered an XS because I wear a size 0-2, but it is a bit tight around my waist.

elegant skirt
I have the purple, and I took the advice of the other Limited reviewers and bought a size up, a M instead of a S. Fits great. It looks much better on than it does on the website. And it looks great with the pleated front shell in lavendar.

Need some hips? You got 'em.
I ordered this skirt in both an S and M due to reading the reviews that mentioned the sizing runs small. That is absolutely right. The S will be going back to the store. I typically wear an S in Limited skirts. The M is a bit big to wear high-waisted like I want to, so I will be using a belt with it. The purple is BEAUTIFUL. It looks pretty dressy -- I would wear this to a wedding, even, paired with the right top. It just floats and twirls so beautifully.
I have very narrow hips, so I like that this skirt gives the illusion of having some curve on the bottom. Curvier ladies may not enjoy that the skirt enhances the hips even more.

Classic Skirt
I was a little leery about buying it because I didn't know what kind of top would look right with it but I figured I would make it work. I ended up wearing it with a button up Limited top & a wide belt. I got so many compliments. This is such a classic skirt & the length is perfect. I'm looking forward to being able to to wear it year round. The only negative thing I can say about it is that the material is not as great as it should be but I still love this skirt.

sizing is off
Got this in the mail today and tried it on. The reviews were right: the sizing runs very small. I usually wear a 6/8 or S/M in the Limited, depending upon the style. I ordered this in a M. It BARELY fits the smallest part of my waist. The color is pretty and the pleating is feminine and flirty..but this is going back. Fix the sizing, please.

pretty but small
I loved this skirt in pink immediately but was disappointed that it runs so small. I am usually a 10 or 12 in Limited pencil skirts and I cannot even get the large in this zipped up. Other than that, it is a lovely skirt that will be great in fall, spring, or summer - if I drop a dress size!

Curves on the hip
I really wanted this to be my go-to skirt for work. It is beautiful and it matches with many items I already own but I don't like how it sits over my hips. I find it curves out from under the top band and makes me look thicker than I am, even though it was an XS. I also have to be careful picking a blouse as thicker materials just add to how it bulges out. But it's just too cute to give up on.

Cute, but Clingy
The downside of this skirt is that it tends to cling. I'm sure some static guard would alleviate this issue, but I personally don't have the patience. I'm normally between a 2 and 4 in skirts, but I found the Small to fit best. I love the pink! It's so cute, but I just found it to be too fancy. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a skirt for some occasion other than work. I wore it out with friends and they all thought it was great, though! This skirt requires patience (or static guard) and creativity. If you have those, then this skirt is not to be missed!

Soft fabric but odd fit
The fabric was a lot softer than I though it would be; however, the skirt sits very high on your waist, so the fit is weird. This skirt also seemed to run very small. I usually wear size small in their skirts, but this one was tiny. Overall it was cute and I think I still could've made it work because the material was so unique!

Not For Girls with Hips
This dress looked cute and romantic on the hanger. Something you could pair with tights tank and cardigan and look put together for work with a feminine edge. Unfortunately the pleating made my hips look bigger than they are. Therefore if your a girl with hips I wouldn't recommend this skirt for you though very pretty.

Versatile!
I am happy to have purchased this skirt in black...I usually wear xs-got the small as per other reviews. I love an item like this in my closet because you can dress up for special occasions or wear with cardigan to work...very feminine...love the length...just right!

Fun!
I bought this skirt in pink and love it! It adds a great pop of color to cold winter days when paired with black or grey. I plan to transition it into the spring and wear lighter colors and strappy sandals with it once the mercury rises. It looks great with a cardigan, ribbed turtleneck, ruffled blouse, and a fitted jacket. I'm going to buy it in black too. It does fit on the smaller side because it's meant to be worn at your natural waist. I was able to maintain my usual size because I have a smaller waist, but you may need to size up. I only gave it 3 stars for quality because as is my gripe with other Limited products, the fabrics just aren't what they used to be a few years ago!

Static Electricity... and size off
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the static with these skirts. I bought a black and a purple one. The purple one seems to be worse, or it may simply show the static more. Another issue I had was the purple one was at least a size smaller than the black one -- although I bought both in the same size. This has never happened to me before at Limited. Looks like the QC didn't quite work here.
