comfortable fabric
I liked the fabric which makes it comfortable to wear. It helps one to look slim.
But if it had lining inside it would have been great.

great in theory but problematic in execution
I was so excited to get this skirt in the mail, especially since I got it for a steal with a few combined promotional deals. But once I tried it on, some design flaws became obvious. First, the skirt is unlined and noticeably see-through at that top panel. Be very careful what kind and color of undergarment you wear with it! Second, the fabric is not especially soft against the skin...I really wish TL would start using cotton in garments like this! Even a cotton/modal blend would be more organic-feeling than this poly. I've tried it on with a bunch of tops in my closet to see how versatile it can be, and it looks best with white, black, and navy. I ordered my typical skirt/dress size, which fits perfectly (a plus about this skirt is that you can wear it high or low on your waist). Hope the design team at TL revises this one for next summer (maybe in more neutral colors), because the idea of the skirt is great!

Beautiful!
This is a gorgeous skirt. I wear a size small in skirts (size 4) and it fits stunningly. The elastic waist allows you to wear it higher or lower on your waist, both are very cute.
The quality of the skirt is great. You don't necessarily need a slip, but I always wear mine.
I actually plan to wear it year-round. In the Fall it will be great with an off-white top and brown boots.

I'm a sucker for orange/tangerine and I hadn't yet added the maxi trend to my closet, so I took a chance and purchased this skirt. I think it pairs great with the Shiny Front tank in Navy. I love this skirt and the fit is great (size small--I wear a 2 in pants and skirts usually, but they were out of xs for me to try in the store). Now that I have this skirt, I'm afraid it might be a little too over the top for casual wear or traveling. Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to style this skirt to make sure it doesn't look like I'm trying too hard or that I'm too dressy?

On Trend Color-On Trend Style!
From the color to the style, this skirt is right on trend with the maxi craze. I love that it can be dressed up or dressed down and can be worn with so many colors and accessories. I paired mine with TL white camp shirt and one of the wide light colored summer belts. I had a pair of color block wedge heeled shoes that complimented the skirt perfectly. I look forward to wearing with cardigan and other brightly colored tops. I did size down and loved the fit. The material makes it great for packing and the crinkle won't wrinkle which makes for a great traveling piece.

Cupcakes all around!
If you love cupcakes, this skirt is for you! If you are indifferent towards them, you might pass on this skirt. The skirt is so fun and flirty; the skirt is a dark tangerine in person, making is so easy to create many versatile outfits. I bounce between 2-4 for skirts and preferred the fit of the small. The elastic is tight but generous to accommodate. I am personally not a fan of the pleats because it looks weird with a striped top, but it's still got that X factor.
