Casually Professional "Denim"
I love this skirt! I like that it has a different look from your standard pencil skirt. It's stretchy and comfy, and I definitely don't think it looks like "cheap denim"...it's like a liftweight tweed, but this will work in place of black during the warm season. Little more casual but still very professional. Good fit - true to size.

denim???
Not good. Cut and fabric are perfect as usual, but this color/print looks like jeans! I tried not to look at it that way, but when I had jeans on and held the skirt up to it- clearly it is reminiscent of jeans! I purchased the matching pants and jacket too, all of which are being returned, solely based on the color/print. Sorry, this was a bad idea.

Great skirt - love the fabric
Really nice, lined skirt perfect for work. I really like the fabric; it's kind of a navy tweed that will go well with a variety of different tops that I already own. Also true to size.

looks like denim
As others reviews have said, this skirt does look like denim. Fit and fabric we're nice, but I didn't like the denim look so it went back.

Perfect!
This skirt is great for business settings, and it definitely stands out when everyone else is wearing the typical black skirt! It also fits well, and I have no hips, so it's hard to find a skirt that creates a nice silhouette!

Go casual, but professional
I was first apprehensive when I opened the package to find that it did look denim. I tried it on and matched it with a white cami/cardigen. It looked really nice and I felt like I was cheating being able to wear "denim" at work, but it was disguised as a suit. It is a fun change up from the rest of the suits.

Fits Great
I ordered this skirt for my new job, where I will need to dress extremely professional. I was hoping the fabric would be a heavier weight tweed, it's quite the opposite! The fabric is super lightweight and the tweed is really fine - it looks like bad denim. I love the fit, but it's going to go back. If you are ok with a denim looking skirt, then I would recommend this product.

Polished and poised
This skirt fits perfectly! Just the right length so that when I sit down, I don't have to pull my skirt down! I purchased this with the jacket and pants-read review on jacket-this is a very great buy and investment in rebuilding or building a business professional and church ministry wardrobe line. The navy and light-blue mock-tweed fabric is seasonless-can be worn in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter-just what I'm looking for so I don't have to change out from Summer to Winter in my closet! Also purchased the matching cross-neck halter and it looks fabulous! Waiting on TL to bring out a light-blue cardigan to wear over it as I like to remove my jacket in the office. Great job!
