My New Suit

I don't wear suits to work but needed to get a new suit for when the occasion arises. Of the few regular/classic/traditional and solid colored suit jacket options in the store I liked this one the most. Purchased the matching skirt. (Got the jacket in a "0" although I typically wear S or XS and excepted I'd get a 2)

This is the second travel suit I have purchased from the Limited, because you can travel all day (even two days) in airports, on planes, and they just don't wrinkle! I love being able to machine wash them, though I don't like to wash the jacket because it tends to shrink just a little every time I wash/dry it. I would suggest getting a size smaller in the jacket than you normally would- I wear a 4 in other jackets, but this one I had to exchange for a 2 because the fit was a little large. Other than that, a perfect staple to any business wardrobe!

Love Limited Travel Suits

I have three travel suits from the limited - two I bough a few years ago and one I purchased just recently. I love that they're easy to care for and to travel with. I also like that they can be washed at home. I have found that they hold up better if they are dry cleaned whenever possible, but in a pinch, I will throw them in the washer and they always look great!

Arm holes drop low

I love the sexy fit of the Travel pants and thought perhaps I will get the jacket to go with it. Unfortunately the arm holes on the jacket drop really low around my bra band and was unflattering. The fabric and sew quality was great but the fit was not.

First the Good: The quality is great.
Now the bad: The lapel is too wimpy and sits awkwardly. IMO, this jacket is not attractive unless its buttoned. Perhaps if it were a touch longer, it would be more appealing while open.

I love that this can be washed at home, and the quality is par the rest of the items found at the Limited. However, the cut is not flattering. On women without a waist, the flare is far too dramatic and gives them the "I'm pregnant" look. There's a reason the model has her hands to her side- to hold in the flare. On curvy women, it hides their waist and makes them look several sizes larger than they are. I returned it and bought a suit on sale elsewhere.

I love that this is washable, but on that note- it does wrinkle semi-easily. I purchased with the skirt and it's a very sleek, flattering, and feminine suit. Hugs nicely in the waist (I have a tiny waist), but fits comfortably around my wide hips. Definitely a great buy, kind of want to get the slacks now too!

Wow, this jacket looks great. The first time I wore it to the office, someone commented on how nice it was and asked where I got it.
I love that it is machine washable as dry cleaning is very expensive here. I want one in every color!

Love this jacket. My size is truly a six but I always have to size up because I work out and have bigger shoulders. The fabric is so nice. I am surprised fabric this nice considering it is machine washable. This is a very classic look. It does not look boxy but eventuates my curves.

I bought 2 Travel Suits from the Limited about 3 years ago. I wear them constantly and they look the same as they did the day I bought them. You really can wash them and they look exactly the same! I usually do not dry them all the way. I am soooo happy it is back!!

I read the other review of the charcoal suit and how cheap it looks (is it the color???) but the black suit doesn't look cheap at all. It's also important to keep in mind that this is a WASHABLE suit which means less wool (and a different look & feel). I just love this suit and the fact that I don't have to spend tons of money having it cleaned all the time.
