As with all 917 fit denim, this cut is intended for ladies with a smaller waist and wider hips. That said, this pair seemed to fit a bit tighter than other 917 fit jeans, but after wearing them for a day or so, they stretched out a bit. They are a bit of a low-rise, so be prepared for watching how you sit. The color is definitely more of a dark navy, and there is basically no striation or wear pattern that is classically a denim look- this is accurately portrayed in the photo. I normally wear a size 8 in the 917/Lexie fit and that fit well in this pair, after stretching them out a bit. For reference, I have a 25.5" waist, 37" at my hip bones, and 41" around my hips/thighs. You'll definitely want to pre-wash these before wearing them so that you don't end up with navy dye rubbing off on your skin, sofa, purse, etc. I'm not usually one for crops and capri length pants (I'm only 5'4'') but these are a good option if you're willing to try them. I think that the completely solid color on the bottom helps counteract the generally unflattering effect that crops can have on shorter, pear-shaped women. Already worn these three times and can't wait to wear them again!

These fit great and a very classy looking! My sister went out and bought the same pair after she saw them! They fit true to size and hold their shape very well!
The denim color is much darker than I expected-it almost looks black!!!! The jeans are of good quality-nice material though-however, I would recommend to order a size up-they are a little stingy in the waist department!
